How easy is it
to download and install/uninstall?
Installing our programs are very easy. First, visit our download page, click on a download
link, and the download should start automatically. Then, choose 'Run from current
location" to let the installation wizard automatically start when the download
completes. Finally, when the installation program launches, simply follow the on-screen
instructions from there to install the program to your computer.
Uninstalling our programs are very
easy. Just click the menu item ¡°Start/Program/<our program name>/Uninstall¡±, the uninstalling program will uninstall all the files
installed.
Does your Audio
software work with Windows XP Professional?
Yes, All our programs runs well under Windows XP Professional.
What's the
difference between MP3 Workshop and MP3 Workshop XP?
MP3 Workshop XP has all the functions that MP3 Workshop does, but it can use your mp3s or
wave files to burn your own audio CD.
The program
Could not find WNASPI32.DLL?
ASPI stands for "Advanced SCSI Programming Interface",and has been the most
widely used SCSI API standard. Our programs used the ASPI protocol to access the CD-Rom
device to rip your audio CD. The WNASPI32.DLL file is distributed in the official
Microsoft Windows 95/98 install CD-ROM. but for WinNT,Win2000 users you must put this file
in your windows system directory. (c:\windows\system or c:\windows\system32)
Download
aspi.exe (self-install .exe file) (284K) and install it.
Does it handle ID3
tags?
Yes, it allows users to add or remove ID3v1.
What MP3 bit
rates does it support?
The software has been designed for use with CBRs (Constant Bit Rates).
Can I split
MP3s to fit on a floppy disk or a CD?
MP3 Workshop and MP3 Workshop XP allows users to split an MP3 into any size or length.
Is it possible
to join different bit rate MP3s?
Yes, any number of MP3s can be joined together, and will be set to the same bit rate you
select.
Output MP3 files are sounding bad?
MP3 is a lossy format. Based on the compression settings chosen by the user (Bit rate,
Sample rate, Channel info) , some of the audio data is thrown away or 'lost' to decrease
the actual compressed file size. This is why the more an MP3 is compressed, the poorer the
sound quality.
Where are my
mp3s?
You're all ready to convert/Split/Join your mp3s...but where are they?
In Convert/Split/Join/CD Rip functions, the output directory need to be set, the default
directory is C:\Music, all the conversion and split mp3 will be at that output directory,
and remain the same name as original. If in Join function of MP3 Workshop or MP3 Workshop
XP, the joined output file will be C:\Music\output.mp3, you can set it to any name and
directory you want.
